The City of Moore will observe Halloween on Monday, October 31st. We do not set a start and stop time for neighborhood trick or treating. A common rule is when your neighbors porch light is on, that is sign they are handing out candy. Have a safe and fun Halloween night!
Merry Christmas to all Bluestem Ridge residents! Enjoy your holidays with family and friends.
The city of Moore will be hosting an Easter Egg Scramble, March 28th at Buck Thomas Park Football Fields. At 10:00 am is children with special needs. 10:30 am is ages 0-12 years on five diferent fields hunting at the same time.
Bring your own baskets! Lots of candy will be provided. Don’t forget your camera for photos with the Easter Bunny!
The ghosts and goblins were out patrolling the streets last night and it was a bit chilly! Thanks to the Blue Stem Ridge Board, a Halloween party was hosted from 5-7 pm. Food, treats, music and games were provided for all.
On a different note, I would encourage you to go to the City of Moore website and voice your opinion on naming the new park, recreation and aquatic center. The park and facilities will be a wonderful addition to our fine city.
Also, don’t forget to vote this Tuesday, November 4th. This is your chance to “speak up” about our elected officials and the decisions made in our city. There are two city issues that have to do with a tax increase. “Your vote is a way to speak your mind and let your voice be heard!”
The Blue Stem Ridge Board is organizing a “Back To School Party” for our residents. Let’s get out, hang out, shout out a little friendliness to each other!
Lunch is provided: Barbeque/Chicken/Baked Beans/Chips. Bring your own beverage.
This is a great time to get to know your board members. There will be games for all ages, a dance contest, live DJ and prizes!
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 21st, 10 am – noon in the cul-de-sac on 31st St.
Many thanks to our new board members and their hard work.
